Dennis,
Perhaps you can explain something to me, and perhaps everyone else that this has happened to...or will happen to.
I have left many posts to threads over time, and of late only to realize that they are not being executed to the thread line. There has been nothing derogatory about any of them, however they seem to be getting censored. I get notification to email that everything was sent properly, but they do not appear. Then I get an email notification (so I no the cookies ares set), with no text as I always had gotten.
Then I realize that my membership status that I qualified for thru you, has been stripped - no longer am I a premium member.
What is worse yet, when I had realized this, I immediately addressed this via email thru your link - WITH NO RESPONSE.
What gives?
- Willie H

Maybe the fact that your membership expired recently has soemthing to do with it, a hiccup in cyber space?
Best of luck. ....

Is there something at your end out of whack? ....

I appreciate your candor. I am hoping that there WAS a hiccup in cyberspace, however what transpired yesterday was to coincidental. Everything was as it had been until I posted to -eavesdropping- with a link for releiving aggression towards the -Bin Ladens- of the world in a different way, certainly nothing nasty or rude.
Many had been touting about wiping this faction or the other off the face of the earth, shooting this one or that with their favorite choice of artillery, or seeking revenge in one capacity or another. I keep an open mind about most all, and posted a link for those that desired to vent, to play the game at the links end.
I certainly would not have thought THAT link would have been censored, of everything that gets allowed on here. GEEZO , GOOD GRAVY !
Again, I do appreciate YOUR posts and candor. As stated earlier, I do hope that it is/WAS a glitch...but.....

You can click on my profile and mine expired the day I go here.
Yours seemed to have expired 8 days ago, but all seems to be ok from what I can see.

Willie,
Thanks for all of your contributions to TP. Our service department aims to respond to member requests in a timely manor. You should receive an email shortly.
In regards to any failed messages I think the reason it might not have posted is that you placed HTML code in the message body, instead of using the available link address box on the post page.
Regards,
Dennis

Dennis,
Thanks for straightening it out for me, and, for an explanation as to what may have happened with the link.
I have just received an email, infact three emails regarding this - and, the status has been returned...
Thanks again - (Oh heavens, now I can sleep easy again, lol)
We'll try again shortly, and see what happens.

Mark, it's not illegal, technically, as long as we stick to official Cannuck surplus mortar rounds only....
And they have a bunch they need to use up before spring comes and they melt anyways. ;-> ....

Bringing this back to the original post. If my membership was stripped my wife would be calling divine retribution and dancing around the table. Sort of like the old days when the ice fishing trip to Algonquin was cancelled.
I have also had a couple of post disappear into the ether. I was not absolutely positive I had sent them so I ignored the problem. ....

Willie,
I use a laptop which is normally on high speed. I will take it home sometimes and it is then on dial up with same ISP. I have had messages sent from there that did not post and on my end it looked fine. Have no idea if such is happening to you or others but I had that to happened at least on two different weekends before I realized when it was happening.

Yea, I have the laptop as well, even with older software on it, and, a different isp all together from that of my pc at my home. Both registered the same way (unfortunately) at the time, as I tried to see what it was that had happened.
I know now that it was not from my end, and all has been rectified. It could have very well have been ISP issues or PC issues, Lord knows these babies never miss a beat (sic), right? I have had late acknowledgements and postings before as well, but this was a wee bit more involved.
Anyway, I appreciate the possibilities.
I think I am going to go and sit around the wood stove for a while with a good book about....."non-metallic, cryogenically-altered Hydrogen Oxygen alloy stealth rounds" for a bit! LOL

If you're going to pull the rocking chair up to the woodstove and pontificate and or gogitate over the "non-metallic, cryogenically-altered Hydrogen Oxygen alloy stealth rounds" ....
Then you better be sure to have some fermented or distilled thermally-altered grain extracts to lubricate the little grey cells.
BTW, it's not cabin fever, not totally anyways, I've been writing a proposal to a Government body, seeking permission to start a new venture, and the contact person gets all excited over $50 terms.
When I told him I could replace the many labourers that presently clean the beach with one "self-contained, hydrostatically self-powered, fully-automated debris seperator and synchronized aggregate conditioner, complete with automatic debris compaction, and on-demand truck height dislodgement of the accumulated material" I thought he was going to wet himself he was so excited.
We call it a beach sweeper.
Best of luck.

Murf,
Got to ask, just not sure how to. Best attempt.
Were you trained by the US Federal Government on how to explain something? Al Gore (sorry if you know who I am talking about) would be jealous.
The only reason I don't think you were trained by them is your's is more like poetry. Keep it up. LOL

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with bolvine excrement(BS). I am not sure the governmental bureaucrats know the difference. ....

I had a sister that worked very hard and make it to a very high level in the US Fed Government.
It was sad. She really developed the ability to take a little truth and hide a none truth in it. Made me understand DC much better. Was very disappointing.

Misfire?
I suspect you would get a transient vaporous body containing thermally altered elements of hydrogen and oxygen that would induce a brief rise in the local humidity.
But we should probably ask an engineer type and give proper "eSteem" to his educated reply. ....

Interesting view,
In my way of thinking one would witness a molecular impregnated moisture coefficient with significant ephemeral release consisting of hydrogen and oxygen, ratifying macroscopic airborne particulates that may be realized as compromised ambient environment
