Has anyone else been seeing lots of Software Errors when reading posts lately? I used to see 'em once in awhile, but I must have had at least 8-10 today. In fact I got one the first time I tried to post this message. I've been sending 'em to Dennis (webmaster at jplan dot com as they come up.
Usually retrying once or twice will eventually work, but it's getting a little frustrating.

Yeah, I have been getting a bunch of them too. I just go back and retry and most times it goes through. ....

Plenty here as well. The other thing I notice is that after typeing if I go back before I post and try to correct my spelling errors the words get eatin like a pack man game, so I wind up posting and then editing. ....

I don't have the problem with "overwriting."
I just get the big blue screen of death with the "Software Error" message. Everything else works fine and reloading the page generally gets me to a proper page.
Some computers will overwrite if the "Insert" key is pressed. When I tried "Insert" on my computer, it overwrites as you describe, Doc, but if I hit it again, it toggles OFF and I can type and edit normally. ....
