Hi,

You should be noticing that you now have to login to post a message, I no longer store a long term cookie with your userid on your PC.

Your userid expires when you close your browser window.

This may help people to remember their passwords ;-)

I don't have to log in or anything. I just go to my "favorites" and click and that brings me to the main TP active discussion page. I've even had my lap top turned off many times and have never had the need to log in--except when there's a hiccup in the system and that's been maybe 5 or 6 times since '03. ....

Two of the tractorpoint cookies on my machine expire in 2009 and 20010 so that probably explains it. I rarely purge all cookies, but I do have a bunch of sites blocked and delete the bad cookies reported by spybot tools. ....

I have changed the security from every session to every 24 hours as every session was too annoying. ....

I don't think I've logged in for many months, maybe not yet this year, except after a crash I had in the spring.

Maybe it's just cause I'm here so much, the server recognizes me. ;)
