Anybody have any opinions on AG King tractors? I'm looking at a 27 HP, with FEL, a few implements and a 16 foot trailer for $13,500. Thoughts?

I am not familiar with a 27hp version of the Ag King. Perhaps if you provided the model number it might help me figure out which tractor you're talking about.

There's a member of this board who's wanting to sell his Kubota BX22 with loader, Mid-mount mower, backhoe, 16ft. tandem axle trailer, and a whole number of other goodies......for about the same price.
In my opinion, you'd be much better off with his tractor.

I saw that- sounds like a nice tractor. However, I'm wondering if anybody has had actual experience with an AGking. I determined to buy a brand new tractor and I'm just not sure how I'm going to get there yet. ....

Although Chinese tractors seem to offer quite a bang for the buck they will generally require you to do a fair number of repairs on them. If you're not comfortable wrenching then you might be better off with a used name brand machine. I used to be a mechanic, but now when I need to do a job around our tree farm I'd rather get the job done than spend a weekend fixing the equipment. If I was younger and poorer I might feel otherwise. ....

Well, Rural King sells the EPA approved FT254 (Foton 25hp/4wd) with an American made loader (Spirit from Wisconsin) for $9600. You'd have to contact RK to see whether it's shuttle equipped. Then consider whether or not the trailer and various implements offered with that AgKing package are worth the extra $3900. My guess would be no.
