I am very close to pulling the trigger on the 4310 w/ 430 fel,ehydro,4x4,3rd scv, power beyond, 60in belly mower and turf tires. I have a final price of 20,500 with a $4700 deduct on a 655w/fel and plow to be traded in. I was wondering if $4700 was fair for the 655. It is in great shape and it has a loader and a 54in plow that was used one season. It is 4x4 with 350hrs and 80% rubber, it has some minor scrapes and rust. I think the price is good but i am just checking. Thanks

Like most trade-in deals you could probably do better by selling the 655 yourself. On machinefinder dot com 655s are listed at $5800 and up. It's typical to get 20% less or so on a trade-in.

Just the tractor in fair shape is worth $5400 to $5600. Any dealer is going to low ball you on a trade as they either have to sell it and make money or send it to the auction and loose out. Clean it up nice and pretty and see if you can park it somewhere in a high traffic zone for exposure and see what you can get for it. I would advise you to get the 72" mmm as you will have no over hang outside the width of the rear tires with a 60" mmm. Makes doing near fences and getting close to edges much easier. ....
