Is the John Deere Price forum dead? I have a JD price-related question, which I posted to that forum three days ago. I noted at the time that my post was the first since 2006. No one has responded to that 3 day old post.

The value of price forums is sometimes questionable to me. Prices vary wildly by region, dealer desperation, incentives, etc. and most people don't buy and trade in their tractors every few years unlike cars. Any pricing data I'd have to contribute would be eight years old, hardly useful.
That said, if folks would contribute what they paid for their machines, how equipped and their location it might serve as a useful reference point for some. ....

Granted it's over 4 years since the last post, but that's just what I did. Try to bring that particular forum a bit more current so as to be useful again. I was just surprised that there were no responses in 3 days. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that the TP server doesn't seem to provide as many links to it (compared to other TP forums). As in, perhaps the lack of response is because nobody saw links pointing to the 3 day old unanswered post.
Again, just wondering.

Seems to be fixed now Dennis. When I'd click on one of the site links to John Deere Tractors/John Deere Price, it would take me to a forum where the last message posted was in 2006. Then I posted my 3720 question, and I went back to check for responses several times a day for 3 days. Each time there was my 2010 post, and the one just before me was from 2006.
If that was you that fixed it, thanks. Otherwise you've got some gremlins in the server room.

And now I understand why. Problem was between my ears. You were absolutely correct when you asked if it was the 3720 thread that was 4 years old. It just took me five days to come to that realization. Sorry for any inconvenience
