I was reading about Iowafun misaligned Pins on his rops and wonder if the base plates were torqued correctly.

My pins are taunt but I hardley ever lower it. However I can see if the base plates were torqued crooked it could screw up the pin alignment.

Without going into 35 arguments about libality issues. I would loosen the base plates and check the alignment of the pins and retorque the plates evenly.

Just a thought to ponder...

The other possibility is that the ROPS has been bent possibly by running into something with it or the machine may have been rolld in the past. Fairly unlikely with the exception of Ken's experience which is not what I would call a roll but a very unusual occurance. ....

2ndhand - The trator has never been roller/tipped by me and I bought it new. I haven't run into anything with the ROPS either. So only issue would be at install, a manufacturing issue or an incident prior to my purchase of the unit. I should complain to the dealer and see what/if they will do anything about it. ....
