Based on the last week of weather here in NW Oregon it sure looks like a hard winter is coming. We average one and maybe two snow storms a year and usually they don't happen until late December or January. Here it is the start of November and we've had two days of snow already and the temperatures have been a good 10-15 degrees colder than average for the last week with the forecast predicting more of the same.
Sure glad I serviced the generator and have lots of firewood ready to go.

It is in the mid 80's here Ken. You never know about the weather though...... it turns on a dime in these parts. Guess I better finish winterizing the boat just to be on the safe side. ....

Here in Pennsylvania we've had a weekend of temps in the mid 70s, 20 degrees above normal. I took yesterday off and did some work around the house. Ya gotta love that November tan. Looking forward to the weekend where the temperature will be closer to normal. I love firing up the woodstove. ....
