The Mrs. and I have a kind of Gentleman/Gentlewoman agreement that while on a road trip I'll tolerate her Trinket/Antique/Junk Store visits and she tolerates my farm equipment drive thru, and occasional get out and give it a look visits or in an extreme cases go in and get some literature. Anyhow we just got back from a few days of leaf looking, and on the way went past a Case/IH dealership that also handles JCB equipment. They had a couple of really tiny JCB dedicated backhoes on the lot that I had to give a good look over, so my curiosity being what it is I went into the dealership looking for some literature on them, I couldn't find any in their rack, everyone there seemed to be busy with real customers, so not wanting to bother anyone we just left. Does anyone know anything about them, they seemed to look pretty rugged with a FEL and permanently mounted backhoe. They make my Deere 4310 with the 48 backhoe look like a giant compared to them. Thanks Frank.

Frank they make a TLB that is actually skid steered--axles don't steer. Is this the one you're talking about? This should not be confused with a regular skid steer loader. ....

EW; Nope, built just like a conventional compact tractor, conventional non powered front axle, non removeable backhoe, little two tooth bucket about 9 or ten inches wide. I didn't pay attention as to whether the FEL was removeable, but likely not being it was a dedicated backhoe tractor. Frank. ....

Shine; Thanks for the web link to JCB. No it wasn't a trackhoe it was a conventional rubber tired hoe. The Mini CX model on their website must have been the ones I saw. I clicked up the specs on their PDF but the print is so small that I couldn't read it even after enlargeing it. Thanks for the info. I'm really not interested in buying one they just sparked my curiosity by their being so small. frank. ....

Gotta keep hitting the "+" button to read the specs. Looks like a nice setup. I wonder what kind of price this would go for. ....

It's a JCB Mini CX I'm sure, handy as all get out, but like anything that nice (and well built) it's also spendy.

I've seen them advertised USED for $30k........

Best of luck. ....
