Glow plug indicator is not on. I am assuming the glow plugs are not on. Occasionally the indicator is on when running.
Any ideas of the cause?

No simple idea from me other than to test each part of the glow plug system beginning with the glow plugs themself. With helper check to be sure power is going to glow plug when engaged. Then if it is check using amp meter (hope you have one or access to one) to see if there is a load being pulled by each glow plug.

I think I would start at the ign switch and make sure that is operating right. On my TC33D it is the brown wire from the switch that controls the preheat relay. Coming out of the relay is the orange wire that goes to the glow plugs. There is a glow plug lamp timer relay also. There are black wires going to the relays that act as the ground so make sure they are grounded. Mice love that spot on your tractor and they can chew the covering of the wires. If you have you operators manual, the electrical schematic is toward the back. ....

Mice..the enemy of equipment. What they don't gnaw they leave nest in or their poop. Not a big cat fan but prefer them. ....
