Picked up the Grand L 3830 yesterday and wasted no time using it. What an incredible machine! The HST tranny is the way to go. It will be hard for me to sell the old MF 135....but not too hard.

Congratulations! Those are very nice machines - I may have ended up with it's smaller brother 3430 if the local dealer was any good. Best of luck with your new toy, er, workhorse! ....

The dealerships played a big roll in my decision as well. New Holland pulled the inventory from their local dealer because of missing inventory. The John Deere dealer wouldn't bring his price inline. I had four Kubota dealers to chose from, two I liked and two I didn't. ....

Congratulations on the new addition to the family! I have read and heard alot of good info. and feedback on that 30 series line of tractors. Let us know how it performs and how maintenance friendly it is when the 50 hr. inspection comes due. ....
