 Kubota L 2850D Replacement

I have a Kubota L 2850D with a front loader and I am thinking of replacing it with a smaller tractor just not sure which brand or size and looking for recommendations.

Originally when I moved from a city up in CT to Kentucky with some land that needed some work, I bought a used JD 650 4 wheel drive. I used it for about 3 years and made many improvements around the house. I had a 4 foot rotary mower, box blade, boom pole, rear scoop, post hole digger, and a belly mower-which I never used. I never ran out of power, 11HP, in the little JD, I would lose traction first even with all four tires filled with liquid and front weights. However, I came to a point I really needed a front loader and could not find one for the JD used. So I decided to sell the JD and get something bigger with a loader on it and bought the Kubota with the loader in spring of this year. The Kubota did everything I needed to get done, the heavy work, and now I am questioning myself about going back down in tractor size. If I had kept the JD it might have worked but I still would like to have a loader.

Now the question:
Would you recommend just keeping the L2850 or suggest a smaller tractor with a loader.

Requirements:
2+ acres split between nice finished lawn-landscaping and wooded area semi-cleared with a pond.
Work around the house and pool area.
Post hole digging
Box blade gravel drive to groom.
Cut grass in wooded area
Clean up wooded area in spring, landscaping rake and box blade

As far as cutting the lawn, I have another little JD LX277 AWS that I didnít mention before that could go or stay depending on what the recommendations are.

The tractor make is not that important to me as long as it is a major brand, can get parts, and can find used/new for the right price. I have $7,500 in the Kubota and probably can get this back in this area if I sell it.

Unless there is a size or weight problem like around your pool I would keep what you have. I would suspect you will get longer life from the larger tractor as it should not be in as much a strain. Also, I think my small tractor is great, then get on my large one and back to it and say, wow, what a difference. There are advantages to the extra weight and HP if the size and weight are not problem.

BX23-24 would give you the backhoe and allow you to mow both applications.

Have you considered a used John Deere 855, 955, 790, or a 4100 or 4110? The 790 is a very reliable and simple bulletproof design (read no bells or whistles) tractor that can do pretty much anything you want in a smaller size. Some of the smaller Kioti tractors might be worth looking into as well.

Actually up to this point I have not considered other tractor yet. I was looking for some recommendations. So I will check these tractors out. I assume all these models mentioned can support a front loader.
