I am thinking of a new 4900 - not used - is that too hard to do ??? ie come up with a price, just can't understand that.
Has anyone bought a new Kubota this year close to this or these configurations? and if so would you like to share the price with me. I don't think I care about the dealer for I am thinking these tractors don't need a lot of work and repair after purchase - right? Usually a new product dealer never sees me again until I'm ready to buy or trade again. ....

I don't know about the 4900, but many new tractors are like cars - plus or minus $10k depending on options. Type of transmission, loader, front and rear hydraulics, work lights, hardening kits, tires, upgraded electrics, etc, etc all add to the price. ....

To get started there is a manual shuttle or a hydraulic shuttle. There are a minimum of four tire selections which also might include cast rear ballast built in or where you add it. What would you like for lighting? With the cab which radio tape or CD? Loader, self leveling Qick attach? ....

I am thinking of M4900 with manual shuttle, 4WD, Kubota FEL, and cab,the new improved one, also fluid in tires but no weights will wait and see if I need them. And I also need and understand that its standard on M4900 - 3 point hitch depth control and a float position for bush hog work.
From what I have seen John Deere has Kubota beat by a good margin on simular tractors, at least price wise but I don't think a cab is available on the 50 hp ones I have been looking at. ....

The bare tractor and cab with single valve with the 16.9-28 rear tires is 34,322. The La1002 loader starts at 4820 and the bucket is 648 for the standard which goes to the Kubota Qt not the standard skid steer. That would add about 600 dollars to the cost. ....
