This question arises from time to time and I believe the answer has always been NO, Kioti and Kubota have nothing in common except the paint color is similar. And I heard once that Kioti was getting sued over their paint color, but not sure about that. ....

There is no connection between Kioti and Kubota at present. There was a relationship about 20 years ago, but they have since parted ways. Kioti (Dae Dong) and Kubota have been making trackors for a similar period of time.
Both construct their engines and the entire tractor. ....

Having had two Kubota tractors before buying a Kioti I can tell you underneath the paint the similarity ends. ....

Nope! They are made in different countries by different companies . Both tractors are high quality . But they are trying for a different market. Kioti (IMHO ) is going for the no nonsense ,work it hard buyer . Kubota is going for the work it hard , but I'd like some extras buyer . All that seems to be changing with the new CK series .Personally I think it's great ! Competition always improves things . John ....
