I have a 3032 e. How long should your 3 pt. stay up with out anything on it or with some thing on it after you turn off the tractor. Mine goes down after a while. Thanks

Depends where you have the flow control knob set. I don't know about the 3032E specifically, but every tractor I've owned had the flow control knob right below the front lip of the operator seat. It controls the rate at which hydraulic fluid returns to the sump. You set it based upon the weight of the implement that's currently on the TPH. The heavier the implement, the more you want to close the return valve. If you don't have the owner manual for this tractor, it's available for download on the John Deere webite.

I suspect the OP is talking about the 3pth settling after the tractor is shut down.
If that's the case then I'd have to say there is no 'usual' time. I've had dozens of identical tractors at a time. Each and every one had a different rate of settling on the 3pth (and FEL) than the others.
The 3pth is no different than any other cylinder seal combination. You will never get a perfect seal, there will always be some leakage otherwise it would be so tight it would wear itself out quickly.

Murf is correct. I have had farm tractors that would stay up for weeks with a load on the 3 pt., and others that would settle overnight with no load.
My 4310 will stay up for a week or more with a box blade on the 3 pt.
They will all be different, unless it is a sudden drop that causes danger to someone, I wouldn't get too concerned.

Again fellas, this is a function of flow control. What permits the rear lift to lower - engine running or not - is hydraulic fluid returning to the sump. The flow control knob controls that rate of return, hence the rate of fall. That said, O-rings/seals are subject to wear. It's not unusual in older tractors that - even with the flow control fully closed - for implements to slowly drop. It's due to hydraulic fluid leaking past bad seals and returning to the sump.
