Tractors without PS steer hard when a loader is mounted--more so with a load. I have old style power-assisted steering and it still steers pretty hard.

It's likely normal for the tractor and some weight on the 3ph is needed. I usually leave my box scraper or other heavy implement on the 3ph to improve the balance and lighten the steering. Other people find they need a ballast box. ....

The extra weight on the front end created by a full bucket will make the P/S work harder, especially if you have R-4 or turfs up front.

All three tractors I have owned have steered hard with max loads in the bucket, except when I was running Ag tires. ....

That's why many tractors now use dual pumps for PS and hydraulics. With a single pump the hydraulics steal from the PS. ....

Recommend that you go to the NYCTO association board and review the latest posts there re: the steering and the loader problem as discussed by a loader manufacturer. Your problem can be fixed. The 300 series Jinmas have one pump for the power steering and another for the hydraulics. Do not place counter-balance on the 3pt till the problem is fixed as this will further the load on the hydraulic pump. Have fun. ....
