I noticed I have a fuel leak on my 03 JM-180
on the fuel line that exits the small filter
facing rearward that connects to the injector
pump on the left side of the motor.
I assume it is the hose as it is a continuous
stream pinpoint in size shooting from the
connector hose at the filter towards the
rear of the tractor.
Is there a lot of pressure on this hose?
Does a replacement hose have the banjo
ends attached?
Should I even ry to get at NAPA?

Some NAPA's do have the right ends for pressure fuel lines using the bango ends. ....

A good NAPA store carries an amazing amount of things like that. I couldn't find a replacement part for the governor on my chipper - Ford had discontinued it and labeled it obsolete. The local NAPA guys had a catalog that had generic linkage parts and they had it in stock. They've saved me a few times now with hard to find parts. ....

At only 8 hours, the flex line between my KAMA fuel pump and the injector pump blew. Sprayed a fan of diesel fuel straight out for at least eight feet. I took the blown hose to a hydraulic shop, where they salvaged both banjo ends. They used some kind of machine-pressed flat bands to refit the ends to a section of reinforced flex hose, and I was back mowing within the hour.

Napa could not fix me up with an off
the shelf solution.However, They suggested
I cut off the crimp and remove the hose,
then install a gas line and hose screw
hose clamp.
I did that and so far on start up (after
somewhat long cranking) no leaks.
I plan to go to the lower 40 and see if I can
pull a few cut trees back to the baRN.
