Did I spell it right? So my son joins the army - we missed the fact that we aren't supposed to be sending any food. We sent a box of cookies, candy bars etc. According to my son, the sergeant intercepted the goodies and ate them in front of my son, and made him do extra work to earn the remaining cookies.
So my son calls us - for the 2 minutes or so he is allowed, tells us not to send any more food, and we tell him we are sorry, we just sent him a box twice the size of the one he already received!! Gee Whiz!

Let's see now. What would be a good thing to put in the third batch of home-made cookies to send him? ....

My thoughts also. Then that batch the Sarg will let him have all and make him eat them in front of the rest. Got it, send him only one big cookie.
Crunch please tell your son thank you and May God Bless and protect him. We have no idea what our country will face. ....

Simple solution.
Get the name of his units Padre and send them to him, with a note explaining who it's for and why you sent them to him.
Been there, done that, the t-shirt didn't fit.
Luckily for me though it was the one Yankee at Paris Island that got my goodies, and he didn't like hot spicy food. LOL.
Best of luck. ....
