The turn signals and flashers on my M6800 Kubota are not working properly. They use the same switch with you pulling the switch knob out for the flashers to work.

Nothing flashes, turn signal nor flashers. If you turn on a turn signal nothing. If you pull the knob out for the flashers, nothing unless you switch on a turn signal and then the oposite signal light comes on with no flashing.

The bulbs are signal filmant and both do work. I have replace both the flasher unit and switch with both being the unit for both turn signals and flashers.

I have not seen any sign of rat or other damage to wires under dash and not aware of any other relay in this circuit but there has to be something I am missing. Suggestions?

KT, does your instrument cluster light up? Not sure how much help this will be but I am using the wiring diagram from my B2320. The combo switch which you said you replaced. Looking at the diagram there is nothing which links these or potential to link this to produce the results you are experiencing.
If the color code of the wires would do you any good I can send these along, but like I said, this diagram is for the 2320. ....

Thank you for the offer. I did check and the lights in the dash and I think all cluster lights are working. Doubt wiring diagram you have would help me. I really do appreciate the offer. ....

Kenny, check that it isn't a bad ground.

Start at the switch and start checking for 12 volts from there to the the sockets. Chances are the problem is near the switch, otherwise the grounds at the bulbs would complete the circuits and the bulbs would light anyways.

Either that or it's ole' Jeffy, looking down on you and chuckling away, muttering something like "Circles huh? I'll show you Kenny, just try an make a turn with no flashers!" ;)

Miss you Jeff!!

Best of luck. ....

"... have replace both the flasher unit and switch with both being the unit for both turn signals and flashers."

Flasher units are prone to failure in time. Are you sure there are not two, one for the signals and one for the flashers? If one, was the replacement a Kubota part as opposed to a generic?

It is my understanding they use the same flashere unit and I did replace with Kubota parts, a must the way they are wired. But a good question to be certain on one flasher. ....

I have decided it is Ole Jeffery...

I may have to end up taking to Kubota for this but really don't want to. My local shop is not a Kubota shop and they would have to end up havig their help.

Hey Art, can I email it to you? ....

For me, given how rarely I need flashers/turns, I'd forget them. If I needed them, there are double light-sets designed to clip onto vehicles that are one-time towed (every tow operater has a set in his truck). You provide power (some have their own battery, others get connected to the tow or towed battery) and just turn them on or off. Maybe you can get kinds that flash either and/or both sides, or can add the flash component to them. That way, for a few bucks, you can attach them the odd time you need them, and not worry about trouble-shooting and paying for Kubota components. ....

Auerbach, I may need to look those up. I am down to two options other than Ole Jeffery causing me problems.

Either a ground issue or think there is a relay in the system (not 100% certain on that and neither was local Kubota dealership but looks like it on wiring diagram). Not sure care to take the dash cover back off. ....

Kenny, I must have been having a 'seniors moment' when I read your original post.

Your description of the light problem, flashers do nothing but add in one signal and it causes the opposite light to come on is classic bad ground stuff.

Best of luck. ....

You're off by 10 years Kenny, but as my good lady says "It's not the age, it's the miles honey!".

Apparently I exceed the mileage limit, the warranty ran out. :)

Best of luck. ....
