I've had a stalling problem with a BX series tractor. After all sorts of trials, such as filter replacement, it comes down to lack of fuel caused by a bad venting of the fuel cap. It stands to reason if you want to get fuel out of the tank, you gotta let some air in. Cut off the air and eventually you have a partial vacuum that can't be overcome. I had a Kubota Utility vehicle and it had the same cap, but a large tank that apparently helped the situation in case of a plugged cap. So now I leave the cap slightly loose. Cap was replaced under warranty, but the design looks weird.

I believe my "B" would vibrate off if left loose. Was it a bad cap or trash in it? You said replaced under warranty so assume a bad cap. ....

A thought hit me on your experience. If Kubota gave you the old fuel cap you may wish to place it on the tractor when not using it to help prevent theft. It stolen with it at least they will need help to find issue and mabye it gets found that way. Odd items can foil theft better than a good lock. ....
