Tom pops in every now and then and spams us with his home-brew power steering systems for the B series Kubota units.

Of course posting his phone number on the 'net doesn't seem like a clever idea either, but..... it's his number.

Best of luck. ....

Dumb me, now I understand what his message was. Hope the system works better than his message. Thanks Murf. ....

K,
This power steering unit for the 7300 is not a home-brew.
It is a well engineered unit precisely matched to the available flow and pressure available in the 7300 priority system.
If you want more info give me a call at that # and I will send you the info packet and we can discuss the engineering details. I'm usually in the lab at this # after 4:00 p.m.
I wasn't sure if this is the right site for this but am sure now, and I will drop this one from the list.
Tnx, tom

Tombower,

If it was up to me, you wouldn't be treated so rudely. I appreciate guys like you posting your information on this site. It becomes "THE PLACE" to go when looking for information on tractors, implements, and tractor accessories.

This isn't my message board, and I have no control over what others have to say here, but I sure wish people would just be a little more pleasant. Good grief.

Thanks for stopping by. It's much appreciated, if only by me.

Joel ....

Thanks Joel for the message.

I threw up a short post to help those that need to cure that B7300 short-comming.

I sure ain't the best at composing that kinda stuff and it does look kinda gooffy.

But heck, there are 66 of those units out there and 66 very satisfied users and Ø returns or warranty issues so I know it's a proven system, but if I broke a rule somewhere here then it's my fault only.
I guess the more I look around this site the more I see that it's just for discussion only and maybe it is inapropriate to let users know of the availability of this kit in this type of forum.
Anyhow, you all have a nice x-mas and a better next year,

Good luck,

tnx, tom.

Tom it's not that you did something wrong per se; we get a lot of hit-and-run "classified ads" as postings---they're not so much interested in helping someone, but themselves sell something.

CTBDennis: Are there posting guidelines within easy or noticable proximity when posting a message or an easier way to advertise? ....

Tom, I did not say your unit was poor design. Said I hoped it worked better than what you wrote. Ask someone to read what you posted and then tell you what it says. I read it for a couple of days that you had a bolt broken off or "wrung" off in your power steering unit. That was why I asked you for more info.

I have no problem with people who do from home designs. Know there are others here who have done them their self. Method of approach affects attitude. As Joel said, this is not my site either. It surely is not my call to say your posting was proper or not. Sorry my comment came across totally negative. Would suit me if there was a way (there may be already) for such to be posted and available for feedback on an on going basis. For sale or not. Such as the giant log splitter someone here has made. ....

My post was simple, straight-forward and truthful, if it was offensive, sorry, but so is spam.

I reviewed & read EVERY post Tom has made to this forum before I posted my comment, the record is there for anyone to read, there was ONE post that was not a sales pitch.

It is not a matter of 'rules' IMHO, just poor choices, a sales pitch in the "Kubota Review Forum" that belongs in the "Classifieds" or if Tom is serious about being a business man he can support the site and BUY an ad like the other members of this forum who make a product do.

Plain & simple.

Best of luck. ....
