I broke a metal tube that bolts onto the bottom of the transission. It is about 1.25" and has a rubber hose attached to it. I do know is for the hydrolics.

I was backing over a small dirt pile and being the time of day when it starts to get dark , I didn't see the other side was deeper than I thought. As you all know Murrphys Law and thi time it was my time fr murphy to visit me. I looked on John deeres parts but couldn't seem to find it. ....

That metal tube contains the suction screen for the trany and all hydaulics. You no doubt lost all fluid too.
It is not an expensive part, and while your at it-change the filter housing.-Good Luck! ....

Oh yea I lost most of it. The part was 73 dollars , the fluid 56 dollars and gasket another 6 dollars. At this point it doesn't feel very inexpensive. The question I have is the dealer had it in stock, is it a common part to break . ....

I installed the skid plate package on my 4310 to prevent little surprises like this. It feels like it paid for itself already. ....
