I bet J Deere company is shaking in their boots. This week "CNH" Had tours comprimised of JD owners with the intent of stealing a few customers LOL LOL LOL!
Man the Barbi-out back was smokin and the tour and drive it dog and pony show was ON!!! We employee's got a "invitation" by our plant manager. The invite was to come out back by the training center and look at all the displays AFTER work hours. Although the keys would not be available to us and the Grills would be cold atleats we would of been able to see some of the products that we dont make here in Racine Wis. I heard they had a "Cotton Picker" back there that was JUST AWESOME!!! I work overtime everyday so I was not able to make it back there in time since it was only open to us for 1 hour after our usual hours and I work 2 hours over all the time.
Anyway, just thought you all would get a "kick" out of hearing CNH's plan to steal away a few customers LOL.

I once read that the Big-3 automakers didn't much care when they received customer letters claiming that they would never buy BRAND A again and would instead buy BRAND B. The automakers expected a certain level of churn among customers and for every customer abandonding brand A for B there was another customer abandoning brand B for A. ....

Agreed!
Its just phenominal what we (and the others also) are putting into the tractors these days. We make changes on the fly. The most recent one was something I feel they should of done a year ago. What really happened was enough customers wanted it so it got done. I re-worked about 200 plastic inserts inside the cab so they would be able to install a port for anouther mp3 player. Me thinks the next option will be a video game controller (for a video game) while the tractors are guiding themselves. ....
