I'm new to this board, and I plan to become a member soon, as there are a lot of great posts, knowledge and ideas here. I recently purchased a used 4110 HST w/410 FEL, 60"MMM, Frontier BB1065 box. It also came with an aftermarket rake and auger.
I'm looking at adding a quick hitch (imatch or possibly an aftermarket), and was looking for some insight into whether or not they are all created equal based on your experiences with them. I'm little concerned about using the box blade with one - only because I wonder how much "slop" there is in the mounting - that will cause un-even grading.
I'm also looking to purchase a tiller soon, and was wondering if they work well with the quick-hitches...

I have a quickhitch and am selling it in the spring to a friend. I am replacing it with a "copy" of a hitch I saw online made of angle iron in a "V" formation. I am fabing it myself, making a few mods which I think will improve the usability for my application. I have the tractor side complete and one impl. side complete. It works MUCH better and safer than the quickhitch, in my opinion.
It is much less hassle, especially with a weight box or tiller.

The I-Match isn't the most adjustable quick hitch on the market. There are several brands that have adjustable top hook and adjustable reach on the top hook. Land Pride comes to mind. If all your attachments will work with the I-Match it will work just fine. Those that don't work can probably be modified to work by yourself or a welding shop. I'm happy with my I-Match but if I had to do it again I'd look for a quick hitch that had more adjustments. I had to modify a couple of implements to work with it. As far as "slop" goes that hasn't been a problem with my box scraper or any other implement. ....

I've also thought about fabbing one myself, so I'd be curious if you have design info., a link, or some pics you could provide.

Jason I have a 51 inch Woods Tiller that I use with my 2210 and I-Match hitch. It works very well with the hitch. I've not had any concerns. ....

Several come to mind-Bubco, Triangle and Freedom Hitch are a few.
I am making mine by using at the best and worst of each and fabing a composite of those.
It sure beats bustin' knuckles.

Have never used a quick hitch. On smaller tractor hooking just is not a problem for me(on level ground I can roll it by hand easy enough). On my larger tractor some of it's equipment width varies so a fix width quick hitch would not work. I also uses some equipment that needs the third arm to move that the 3 point quick hitches would not allow.
However, we just install the quick hitch ends on my brothers 70 to 80 HP Massey. To me they are the best option. They pin and bolt onto the end of your lift arm but do not affect the ability to adjust your arm spacing or alignment as each lift are is still fully free of the other. The only adjustment we could see that had to be made was to screw out the third are a little more and it does move the weight back about three inches so front end will be lighter with a very heavy cutter that tractor is used with (also reason for the quick hitch).
Ones like we used are sold by Northern Tool. They are sold others places also. But Northern's web site is easy to use. ....

The John Deere I Match will work with the 2210. I used one for months with out a problem on my 2210. However I did come to a problem when I wanted to use the I Match on some non john deere or frontier attachments. To solve that problem I traded in my I match for a Land Pride Quick Hitch. The Land Pride Quick Hitch has an adjustable top link hook that you can raise and lower in a 10 inch range to fit most off brand attachments.
