New Kubota SVL75-2 being delivered today. I need a grapple for clearing some land, thinking a root grapple with fairly short tines to allow me to rake after pulling the brush and small trees.

So far I've looked at QuickAttach, CID, Blue Diamond, SkidPro and several others. The SkidPro has a new model called the Verticle Grapple which fits the bill and is heavily constructed. It falls in the middle of the price range between QA, BD at the top and CID, Titan etc on the lower end. Not interested in the $999 specials. Anyone have input as to good unit between $2000 and $3000 that I may have missed?

If you have not decided two brands you did not mention or I missed or did not see:
WR Long and Everything Attachment.

I have a L6060 Kubota with EA Wicked 60 grapple and like it. Think you would want a heavier model than that one. . ....

Hey guys, I did not notice the reply emails, sorry.

I'm clearing the remaining overgrown acreage on my property, and also plan on purchasing additional land. Ultimately, I ordered a 4000# set of forks and CID Extreme Root Grapple. Together they cost half of what the Quick Attach grapple cost, not to mention, the freight was a fraction of the cost. My first choice was Skid Pro, but the unit I wanted was another 3 week wait plus delivery time. ....

cutter, you have a real BEAR there! How much does it weigh? If you don't have quick attach, does that mean you have to pull the pins to remove? No doubt that is more secure,

I have one word of warning for you, WATCH OUT FOR YOURSELF. I got a new tractor and a grapple and within the first four hours or use had run a limb past the grapple ripping the screen in the grill. Part at dealer was about $355. No real to any working part which was a blessing. Had I been on a skid steering that limb would have been running right at me possibly for it may have been low enough it would have hit the machine. That happened not due to the loader working buy my driving into a pile to dump the load of limbs I am sure.

Enjoy, it is amazing what a grapple can do. Like the two lids, for odd size items no doubt it is better than a single lid. Also like the fact the points of the teeth don't line up with the lowers ones so it can get tighter on small loads. ....

KT it's around 9200# if I recall correctly, 500# heavier than the comparable Case 310, but more expensive also. The swing up door and direct hydraulic controls is what convinced me to go with the Kubota.

I'm looking for the brush mower, I'll check the other brands mentioned, thanks. ....
