Yes I do have a loader, as well as a frame mount backhoe, york rake, log <br>splitter, sickle bar, and a grader blade. My Kubota 2850,I believe is 30 H.P.,<br>with a 28 H.P. pto.. I really enjoy the extra hydralic controls for the rear<br>implements. It's really a time saver to adjust the hydralic top link(angle of<br> attack)and swing the rake or blade without leaving the seat. Thanks again for<br>the responses. If I can get my neibor down a couple thou. I will jump on it.

There seems to be a sizeable difference in the front loader statistics of otherwise similiar models from NH, JD and Kubota. Specifically, I'm comparing a TC33D, L3010 and 4300, with Hydro and a loader. <br>The two stats that I'm wondering about are breakforce and lift capacity. Looking at the spec sheets the JD seems to have an advantage in this area. I'm trying to determine the acuraccy and relevance of these numbers. Can anyone help this newbie? JD 4300 w/420 loader - breakforce 2,693 lb/ft - lift capacity 1,195 lbs.
NH TC33D w/7308 loader - breakforce 1,602 lbs. - lift capacity 800 lbs.

Suggest you check the spindles for binding. With your PTO disconnected from the deck, you should be able to push the belts to rotate the pulleys by hand, if you can't, pull the belt off and determine which spindle is stuck.<br>Another possible problem is often the idler Pulley can be worn so that it shimmeys under load, looks normal when stopped. Pull up and down on it, if it moves its shot and needs to be replaced, some of these are permanently sealed so they can't be lubed to prevent this.<br>I would also look at the rest of the tensioner springs and such as this assembly can get clogged with debris which will prohibit its movement, and in turn burn up your belts. Make sure it can move back and forth to take up the slack in the belt as belt tension changes.<br>Dennis<br><br>

Well I have a G4200 kubota that did the same thing. turns out it was the handle that engaged the <br>mid-mount PTO deck. I just had to pull back on it a little before i started it. I<br>don't know, maybe you already fixed yours. Just thought it might be helpful.

I took delivery on my TC29D this weekend. I bought it from Antietam Ford Tractor, near Hagerstown<br>Maryland. They were great to deal with. I posted the pricing before, but here it<br>is again: Tc29D, fluid filled industrial tires, 7308 loader, Woods 72

Rob, I run a small business is Central Maine specializing in stump grinding chipping and light tree removal.<br>If you want to do the work yourself, look at a Kubota L35 tractor/loaderbackhoe. That machine will handle 8 inch stumps, has the loader to move dirt and crushed stone and is available used but not abused for around 25,000.<br>If you look in Uncle Henry's there was a guy in Abot selling his. I don't remember the price.<br>If you just wanted the stumps grond below the ground surface (4 inches below) forty 8 inch stumps would cost you about $500 dollars in Central Maine (Augusta Area) More is there are a lot of roots to chase.<br>I don't install septic systems but plan on spending between 3,000 and 6,000 for a septic system of normal design, depending on type and size.<br>To clear the trees from the area, I would suggest felling the tree dragging it to a central point, limb it, drag the rest of the tree to a pile. burn the limbs. Once you have an opening start the fire and burn the limbs as you generate them. Dont try to get big piles the burn the piles. Keep the wood seperated by type. Sawlogs, softwood pulp, and firewood. You can have someone with a portable mill come in and saw the logs for you (.15 to .20 cents per board foot), sell the soft wood pulp to a wood broker and use the firewood yourself.<br>Good luck

I've heard the same from a couple of dealers re: 420 loader shortage. I go along with the other postings about the 430 loader; it's a big step up from the 420 - heavier, much more reinforcement on the sides, top and around the rear of the bucket (if my memory serves me right the 430 has 5 reinforcement bands around the rear, the 420 has 2; the 430 is reinforced along the side edges, the 420 has none, etc.). <br>Given your choice/need of the 4300, over the long-term I think you'll be much happier with the 430.<br>Dealers have wanted $4-500 more for the 430 - I'd offer $200 (and a little

Unfortunately, the turning radius is <br>less than we can afford for our lawn. I think it is a good unit, but even my wife <br>didn't like certain features on the unit, and she know's nothing about tractors.<br>Sorry guys, but I'm sure you all know what kind of influence a woman can have<br>when it comes to tapping the bank account. <br>I have seen Boom poles that hook up to 3 point hitches. The ones Ihave seen have a hook at the end but the range of motion is only the 3 point range. If you have a Quality farm and Fleet or a Tractor Supply store, look in their catalogs.

That sounds like a decent price. I have a 1920 w/4 wheel drive and shuttle. I have 850 hrs. I found that the Ag tires were tearing up my lawn so I switched to turf tires filled only with air. I was assuming that I would need chains or calcium for snow plowing. Surprisingly I had no problems this winter, even climbing hills with more than 30 inches of snow (Michigan). I use an 8 foot flail mower and I mow 7 acres. It's never failed to start and never needed anything but routine service. <br>

I have a JD 955 with a loader and I have a chance to purchase a Kelley 2000 3pt hitch backhoe. Will this fit correctly on my JD and does the Kelley Hoe have a sub frame or will I just tear up my machine. I plan to use it for light work,shallow trench, planting trees etc.

I have an 87 Allis Chamber. It is a 21hp pto. I have had a woods 750bh on it for three years and it has worked wonderfully. Woods said not to put it on this model but I built a subframe to tie the tractor together, hung it on the 3ph and have been digging ever since.
