agree with Dennis on beating up the tractor pulling stumps w/backhoe on a CUT---have been known to spend a day or two on one stump!

Greetings, Just signed up on the TP.com forum & looking forward to tapping into and maybe even providing input where I can. <br>
Right now I'm trying to work out a change from the Turf Tires that came with my tractor to lug-type tires for both front & rear. My question: Would like to know if anyone can tell me if I can I use the existing rims for the change over or do I have to buy different rims to do so? Very much appreciate any guidance you have to share.

I bought a reproduction manual for my Long 350. It says the transmission uses 20w40 API oil (17 qts.). Is this regular engine oil, and where can I find it? Can 15w40 be safely used (it is more readily available here), or is there a better substitute that I can use? Thanks for the help.

Yeah, but does your ThermoStart actually work?? You might be pushing the ThermoStart button for nothing. Is the fuel reservoir full, is there voltage to the glow plug? Does the glow plug heat? <br>

Idea 1: Find a lawyer who knows what tractor owners are entitled to expect and ask if you have a cause of action.

2. I won't be getting a Kioti after all. They offer a lot for the money but can be too problematical.

That makes the most sense. I'll start trying to run down a new oil pressure sensor. I guess if that one is bad, when I plug the wire to it, the light doesn't come on, and it won't crank because it's locked closed????? I wonder if it's coincidence that it went out when the clip jarred loose from it????? If you can think of anything else, please let me know; God knows I can't afford $75 per hour, and I don't want to ruin something. Thanks, Steve

Mine was doing the same thing(kioti lk 3054)I replaced the bushing,oil seal,oring and it worked fine.If you stil need help email me and I can get the phone # of a dealer to help you out

Mike thanks for your input but one occurance is enough for such to happen? Glad I never spent the money on one. Will be sure to pass on to my son in law who was looking to buy one. If it is tied down on say a sheet of plywood that would seem to me who has never had one to be about as solid a surface and support as the bed and it closed.

the Mx version uses a lighter chassis than the M5640 does, so there is more then a couple of horsepower here for a difference.
The stronger chassis would improve longevity but depending on how many acres and the amount of acreage you are going to work you still might be able to work with the MX.
Many say you can never buy to big although it is possible.

Yup, that's the two stage. Note the diagram title: the Chinese translation is "Double Speed". And the shaft is indeed nested; inner PTO, outer drive. Hard to see in the small diagram, but there are two sets of splines where the shaft eventually mates with the 2 stage clutchpack; smaller diameter forward splines go through the drive disc and mate with the PTO disc. Larger splines behind them mate with the drive disc<br>

Bring one to a hydraulics shop. If they don't stock that size they can order them. Or google "hydraulic seals" and order what you need.

I have a SD1540 parts tractor. I don't think the SD1540 engine was used in a Ford.

Must be a Viet rebuild. I've never seen one for sale by my Japanese suppliers. There aren't nay op or service manuals. What engine does it have. I try supplying a manual for the tractor with the closest engine.
