As a dealer a different take on this is many manufacturers switch the base makes of the tractors they choose to sell. I've sold the mitsu's two times with two different colors on them as well as names. There are others as well we have sold. The same as what is going on with Yanmar now being through Cadet, they put jd on the compact tractor map as a good quality line. Now most people just defend there purchase of a deere for being an american owned company.

I like selling a superior quality brand that someone is proud enough of what they build that they put their name on it!

No If it was I wouldn't be having this problem. I don't really want that problem again. It is really the wrong kind of guage for the application.

I have a MT 210D. I parked the tractor and the next day the tractor will not start. I have replaced the battery and it drains as soon as I hit the start key. I am suspecting something in the starter/alternator but I am unsure as to how to check these parts. I can jump start the tractor but I have to stall the tractor to shut it off. This is the first tractor I have ever had and need some guidance as to what I can do to fix it as well as take proper care of this old but mechanically sound tractor

Dennis' Gross per acre would be a wild guess at best.
His yield per acre can vary from zero to 200-225 bu. per acre depending on all the factors I metioned earlier. The market price for corn delivered to the local elevator here today is about 3.20 per bu., but that changes almost daily.
So his gross per acre couild be as much as 700.00. Fourteen grand, that's a pretty good income from twenty acres. But now the reality sets in, input costs,on and on, and you are about a hundred fifty to two hundred dollars below the gross per acre. Now we haven't even talked about power and machine cost,land cost, etc. Even with everything going right it will be close to a break even year for many, usually they ride it out waiting for a better market and good yield next year. Eternal optimists, we are called.
Being the poster has lots of experience with vegatable crops that may be a better option if a market can be had for his products.

My 2003 BX2200 has been great, I bought it with the LA211 front end loader, than added the Woods Ground Breaker X backhoe later, at almost 500 hrs , no problems!

The info on the block label does in fact identify the engine.
JD stands for the manufacturer Jiangsu Jiangdong Group,
T is for tractor,
don't know what the Y is for,
95 is for the bore diameter,
E3 means it's an EPA compliant variant.
I think it's probably missing one digit, cuz they're usually labeled TY395 rather than TY95

I have a 4200 VXD with 72" finish and 60" rough cut mowing decks. My area is rocky and I occassionally shatter a bearing housing. Ventrac bearing housing assemblies (parts 87.0205 LH and 87.0206 RH) are $160. Anyone know of a source for the housings? The old spindles and bearings appear to be good - juat broken flanges on the old housings.

Called Northern today and they said there is not reason to change head bolts. The head is still stuck. Finally took it to a mechanic who will now repair tractor. Thanks for the help.

Ken, the reason the K6 module corrected this is unknown. Apparently - tell me if I am wrong - the way this works is that 12v is continuously supplied to the solenoid. In addition another 12v is supplied for 3 seconds (controlled by the timer module) through the K4 relay to the solenoid. So you get 24v for 3 seconds then it drops to 12v supplied to the solenoid.

In my testing (following the tech manual) I was getting 14.4v continuous to the red wire at the solenoid and 14.4v for 3 seconds at the the K4. The solenoid black wire continuity to tractor frame appeared to be good. And solenoid white wire continuity to the frame for 3 seconds was good. So assuming 14.4V is OK for a 12v system I could find nothing wrong with the K6 module. However I did not test continuously until failure.

I have a 2010 and need to check out my pistons and check valves that operate my three point arms and fluid supply<br>
to my power steering and front end loader. my arms no longer stay up after the tractor is shut off and when a load of any kind is on my bail tote in the rear I get a bouncing, I was told I have a blowed piston rings or check valve bad. has anyone every had this apart. I have a new john deere manuel on the way, but any help would be greatly appreciated.<br>

I've heard that some are the same as Massey Fergusons, so an MF dealer might have that info. If not, you might get a manual at justtractorparts.com.

Dennis, there is one that does I know. No idea on any others. On that site you have to delete it yourself. That is true of ones you sent or received.

Not sure I am a fan of their set up on saving the private emails. Had I not been asked to resend a PM would have had no reason to ask. Do not take this question to mean there is a need to change the setup.

Not sure a compression test does any testing for oil pressure but have been wrong before.

You are able to get the engine warm when cold so it must have oil pressure to run that long, right?
Have you had oil pressure sending unit tested or replaced? How about guage? You are using correct engine oil? So could the bypass valve be open while cold and then closing when it warms?

A few years back my wife had a Bronco with a V 6. One cold night she said it was making noise. I had her crank it up and boy was it, rattled right bad. She did not realize what the oil guage was for or meant. OK she learned that night. Hauled it to garage the next day. They took oil pan off and found nothing wrong and oil pump working fine. They said there must have been something in there preventing the bypass from closing to keep the oil pressure up. No damage and it "fixed" itself.

It will be Thursday before able to crawl back under the machine "with" flashlight to see head to check Ken's suggestions. Then will see if any way to get impact wrench on it. Might can with very short socket and then long extension for smaller diameter than deep well socket. Fear is not damage to drain plug, but to threads in oil pan. Have even thought about ok, if able to get impact wrench on it and it does not loosen real quick then use the drain plug as port to drill and tap for new drain plug. It would be thicker than the oil pan would be.

Have you tried their web site? Also have you looked for a dipstick anywhere on the transmission? IF it has one could even be under seat. As to where to add, there will be a large plug normally near the top of the transmission. They could have a site window or even a small plug to remove to check fluid level but probably a dip stick.

I second you need a manual for the next question will be and what kind of hyd oil does it use.

Mine does the same with a 430 loader on the 4310. I just kind of got used to it and don't really pay attention to it anymore. After a few cycles it seems to work the air out if it really is air, and don't bother.
