I have been using my JD #70 loader on my 755 a lot lately. When dumping a bucket load and stopping the "dump" at a point, when I resume the "dump" there is a time lag as the cylinders "fill up" with oil. In a closed system, how is it that there is apparently a vacuum or air "pulled" by the weight in the bucket? I have noticed this since new but had not used it enough to fully realize what is occurring. Is there something wacky here?
Thanks

Mine does the same and it's a 4400 with a 430.
My understanding of it is: There are 2 dump sections of valve. Push lever a little to right slow circuit is in. Push hard all the way the fast circuit in. If you stop someplace right between them that is where the lag time comes in.
Seemed like I had got past the issue but lately I must have brain cramped it. I'll pay more attention and see if still true. ....

Mine does the same with a 430 loader on the 4310. I just kind of got used to it and don't really pay attention to it anymore. After a few cycles it seems to work the air out if it really is air, and don't bother. ....
