Dennis, no idea about there but dealers here attitude can vary a lot in say 80 miles. Not just autos but also with tractors.

Not a turf expert at all. We did have centipede at previous house and it is most popular here for reason it grows slow and does decent job covering. The seed heads will get a few inches high but never seen leafs even three inches high.

We went with Zoysia with current house this year will be 12 years back. To begin with there are many varieties of Zoysia. We are fortunate enough to visit a Super Sod farm and they had small plots of several different grasses and a few different Zoysias. The fine ones do require reel mower but the variety we went with (not sure the name now) looks a lot like Centipede but grows in more areas than it does and taller and faster. It has not taken the full lawn and we still have weed grasses (part of our lawn was old field and part was woods)that will grow fast but not over three inches a week even with our heat and normal rain. Yet even the Zoysia in prefect conditions will grow fast enough it would need to be cut at least twice a week if done proper. Oh we do use rotary mower on our Zoysia and the reason we went with the variety we did.

In my part of the world the lowest maintance is by far Centipede and they are cut weekly even by the pros. When even our heat hits or it goes without rain two weeks is freguent enough to meet Murf's recommendation. Now if you want to keep the thickest lawn and love the mower use a Bermuda, think 3 days is recommendaiton between mowings.

Our state has great info on trufs though our county agents and the better truf farms.

One thing do want to point out, it is my understanding there is a lot of difference between the lawn turfs in even Tenn due to climate and the western part of our state also is vastly different than the grasses nearer the ocean. A great lawn to me is really a local issue.

Thank each of you. I played around and found a trailer that will serve my needs and truck also. As always learned something from each of you. Really hard to say but even OLD (yes not Ole but OLD) Jeffery explained something on CDL to me. Seriously Ole Jeffery thanks.

If it shows the engine rpms for 540 PTO rpms it is built to run there for hours. But does not mean you need to run it that high if not needed. Once reason you do run high engine RPMs is to have the pto running the necessary speed for such as mowers. For such as any mower you run the engine at speed to keep the cutters at their speed and use the gear you need for ground speed.

This thread came to my mind today as I passed a DOT tractor with boom mower on it. Even driving by parked tractor could tell it was lexan and was bolted in place on the cab. Cab looked not to be a JD cab and might have been fabricated locally.

Fuel so diesel. It turns over but will not fire, at all? Any smoke for the exhaust?
Did you try bleeding the system? Have you checked that fuel is getting to the injectors? Have you checked the fuel line to be sure it is even getting out of the tank? Could be trash in tank. Could be two issues you could have run out of fuel and in the backing up somehow tore loose a saftey swtich that is preventing fuel to pump.

First rear finishing mower ever used was a King Kutter behind an 8N I think. It was my nephews. Did a good job but boy was it tough steering in tight areas.

Best I can offer is an opinion but even then don't see what size post these are you are wanting to notch 1 1/2 deep. Okay no snow load there but how about wind load? That is our big concern here in South Carolina. Then there was the large commerical metal building built that would take like 10 inche of snow load and just a few weeks later we had a whole like 16 inches (a lot for us) and the full roof fell in.

Have not seen these in person but have a M6800 that is about 13 years old. Looking at the specs on these two tractors see to me several maybe called small differences but have you taken the specs and info on both tractors and compared that line by line? Some of the differences may be of no benefit to you while others might be. The difference in front wheel size might be worth it based upon the amount of FEL use you will have.

Boy your situation seems like have seen it already.

So what was the problem with the MH?

Just quick thoughts: could someone have done something like sugar in the system to damage the tractors? How coolant being low enough they ran hot and locked due to the heat. How about the coolant did not protect the engine and it has frozen and cracked?

My experience has been with a solenoid that clicks either it is bad or there is not sufficient current to turn the starter. Bad cables or connections could be the issue preventing the current (you installed new battery) a good path.

Be 100% the tractor is not in gear but have you tried jumper cables direct from battery to starter bypassing solenoid and cables? If that works then use a cable and bypass the solenoid to determine if the solenoid is okay. If it is then probably with battery cable ends.

No idea on your car but on most any brand I know would say you have either a sheet metal rub or even a screw catching. Possibly a lose hinge.

A real wild one that happened on some of their trans years back but don't recognize this model. But their gear shifter could have enough lose play you could pick it clear of the shifter slots if you pulled up on it at least in certain gear. You had to remove the top plate and if you looked carefully could tell the slots were not in alignment. No idea if yours is same design or not. If it is an old mechanic should be aware of this.

Agree check Kioti options first but there are many aftermarket seats. Compare carefully for bolt pattern but seat belts set up, safety switch, slides, depth of seat. I found many of the seats had very shallow depth and it will get tiring in short order.
