not familiar with your model but could be that the shaft seal on your hydraulic pump is blown out and the oil is being pumped into the drive section and into the gearbox?

that is great. inside the hydraulic distributor there is a small ball and spring that can malfunction. maybe that is what broke loose? like just about everything on this tractor it is an easy to repair in the field. my tractor manual and stickers warn to only use motor oil in the hydraulics.

does the hydraulic work when the tractor is in motion but not when sitting still? on some models there is a selector that you can run the hydraulics off of the wheels or the transmission.

i have a different model than yours but had a similar experience. the primer pump on the side of the injection pump was leaking internally. also on my pump there is a vent that allows any slobber to go to the outside rather than into the crankcase. mine was plugged.

do you run the rotella 15w40 in the transmission also? what oil do you use in the hydraulics and in the steering? i see in another thread you need a hydraulic pump?

i am looking to purchase an 825 belarus with a front end loader. is there anything i need to look out for? it will be used as a chore tractor moving big bales around and feeding cattle in the winter and some light duty tillage and seeding etc in the summer. i plan to carry two 1200 lbs round bales on the rear three point and maybe one bale on the front. a question about gearing and shifting as i will be traveling from farm to farm feeding. is the top gear fairly fast? are the shifts between gears smooth etc? how is the speed of the hydraulics? Thanks

i just brought home a model 400 industrial with a backhoe and loader. it is pretty rough but i will give it a try to see if i can get it going. previous owner said the power steering was giving trouble but i think it might not have power steering? any advice???

starting a new thread for electrical on the belarus 1770 4wd articulating tractor. this tractor was mfg in kharkov tractor plant in ukraine as model T-150K-07. the tractor is typical 24 volt start and run on 12 volt everything else. interesting is the alternator is 12 volt and there isn't a parallel switch that i can find. it does have a heavy duty remote ground disconnect switch and i think a 24 volt to 12 volt reducer for the dash - air conditioner-lights etc. no key just a button on the dash that remotely connects the ground "CLUNK" and then a heavy duty turn switch for the starter. does this sound right??<br>

there seems to be some commonality of filters across the product range. i am currently sourcing all filters for a 1770 belarus. i have a parts book for my model but from looking online it seems that even though the part number may be different for each model the filter is the same. the mtz spares has most of the filters i need in stock and just a few that are mpdel specific to my tractor a few weeks out. i suspect that they have all of the paper element type i need in stock. i am discovering that even though the parts book identifies the filter as an element that some are a washable reusable screen.
