Hi Guys,
My 4310 will have to go in for the Hydro Recall Service, but not until June. I live in MA and my 4310 is garaged in ME. Have any of you looked into buying an extended warranty for your 4310s? I've only got 12 hours on my 4310, but it was already split once because of a transmission leak in the 4 wheel drive system. Now it will be split again because of the JD Recall.
If you have the extended warranty what did it cost you and how much time/hours did you get with it?
Thanks in advance.

See recent thread on "HST vs Standard Transmission". I saw the extended warranty option on the JD web page and called my dealer to get specifics and prices - but they never called back. I guess I have to go plant myself at the dealership - but that is difficult with the hours we put in at work.
In the other thread everyone seems to think the HST is very reliable and you probably don't need the extended warranty. But I always go back and forth on this stuff.
I have a 4310 and my tractor is currently at the dealer locked in 4WD. But I think a stick poked a wire loose under the belly of the tractor. Hopefully a simple fix.

On the JD extended warranty web page it says to call 1-866-993-3373 or contact your dealer for more info. Have either of you guys called this number? ....
