Does anyone know where I can get some info on a PTO power washer. I'm looking for one with about 2,000 psi, 2 gpm or less and it's own water tank.

I have not seen a high pressure water pump that fits to the PTO. I have seen the pumps sold separately but you would need to modify and attach to the PTO ....

Billy, this is not close but it is in the ballpark. Northern Tool sells a well made PTO pump that is rated at 400 (+/-) psi at 20 or 24 GPM (depending on the model). If you get one keep a tight grip on that hose first time out.
Maybe you can throttle it back? On my 4100 at idle it would take paint off I think, at the full 540 PTO rpm's it will literally vaporize(vapourize? Tom?)the water.

Yep, that's my mid-Atlantic spelling. I put the 'u' in vapor but I don't put the 's' in organize. It's fairly typical in Canada. The 'Canadian English' option in my spell checker is much closer to British usage than to common Canadian usage so I mix and match. I probably retain an overlay of U.S. educated hick as well. It's what I am.
Off the top of my head, I'd guess that the pump itself would be fairly small and not require the full power available from a PTO. Except for the PTO as a power source, the 3ph probably is more desirable for carrying the water than for carrying the pump.
A home-brew unit might be something like a pump intended to be driven by an AC motor and a generic gear box for getting 540 rpm to 3600 rpm, which would be the input rpm for a direct drive AC motor. The same gearing should be used for PTO generators, so a generic gear box likely could be found. An appropriate shear pin could match the PTO to the pump and gearbox.
I'm assuming that specialty pumps for 2,000 lbs. power washers exist. I did look at a piston type water pump in the catalogue of my local hardware store when I was thinking about fire fighting pumps. The flow was much greater than 2 gpm and the pressure came nowhere near 2,000 lbs. I don't think it performed near as well as a four stage impeller type fire fighting pump, so maybe finding a pump without a motor would be a problem.

I received this picture of a pto spray washer, that was under development by the Chinese. I have not heard of any dealer getting this item, yet. In fact, have no additional info outside of the picture :(

Far be from me to burst anyones spending bubble, but an automotive-type, high volume (say from a one ton truck) power steering pump makes a dandy pressure washer pump. They can usually be had for a couple of hundred bucks new, much less used, and will easily run from a "B series" fan belt driven by a large pully welded directly to a PTO coupler on the output shaft. If the pump is mounted on a plate running from the lower links in towrds the tractor, a standardupper link can be used to tension the belt in conjunction with the 3pth setting.

I think I'll scratch the idea of a pto power washer and go something cheap.
Here's my plan:
I've got a 4wheeler trailer that I'm going to put a 55-gallon barrel and generator on. Buy me one of those cheap electric power washers, hook a sump pump (which I already have) and the power washer to the generator. The sump pump should supply enough water and pressure to the power washer. If it doesn't work, all it'll cost me is about 100 bucks for the cheap power washer.
I think it'll work though, how about ya'll? Southern ingenuity at it's finest :)

That sounds like an interesting thing to try. I'm sitting here thinking that a 32' column of water produces almost 15 psi as I recall. I think most sump pumps support about a 20' head so a sump pump may not develop a typical 50-psi faucet pressure. However, I have no idea how much input pressure a pressure washer pump requires. For all I know it may draw its own water just fine.
One thing for sure is that sump pumps produce flow if not a lot of pressure. There shouldn't be a problem with a pressure washer pump pumping itself out of its prime. That's an issue when daisy-chaining our forestry fire fighting pumps together. The pumps have over-speed protection that shut them down if they loose their prime but a sump pump probably wouldn't have safety devices other than a float.
