I have a 855 compact and I was useing it when I put the rocker shaft up and now it wont lower .. Any ideas as to whats up?

Under the front of the seat, near the floorboard, is there a knob? If so, it is probably the rockshaft "rate of drop" adjustment. If it is cranked closed the rockshaft won't drop. Open it up and see. ....

Ya I know about the flow control knob and its wide open and I tried it in diff positions , That aint the problem . Its funny that it did this all of a sudden ....

Two other items to check.
First that the bolt connecting the vertical handle you move by hand is firmly connected to the horizontal shaft where it goes into the housing and not slipping.
Second, if your unit has draft control or a power beyond kit that some other item that is diverting fluid to the lift side of the 3pth.
