I have a SU1341 that I had to clean the pickup sceen for the hydralic pump to get the hydralics to lift the rear tiller based on advice from one of the folks on the discussion. The hydralics will now lift the tiller. I have one more question in regards to this if anyone has any advice on this. The little lever you pull back to lift the tiller seems to have a top, middle, and bottom, nothing really happens except when you pull it all the way back and it lifts the tiller, then if you let go of the lever the tiller bleeds off and goes to the ground pretty slow, but does go down. Lastly when I put it to what I would think would be the lowering position, no change really takes place.
I'm wondering if theres a valve or something that also needs cleaning or if this is pretty natural for these little SU1341's. Would appreciate anyones elses thoughts on this. Thanks

I don't know that line, and can't picture a three-way control, but if you're basically saying that the rear hitch slowly bleeds down when carrying a heavy raised implement...
... you might look for a rear-hitch check valve. It's likely a knob that you turn all the way in (clockwise) to lock the hitch from lowering. It goes without saying that the fluid should be clean and the right kind and amount. ....

Some of those types of levers are slightly spring loaded with 3 positions. UP-NEUTRAL-DOWN. The knob controls
the speed of the implement going down. I think you might
have a worn "hydraulic" piston packing. It might explain the slow dropping of the implement. Fluid slowly bypassing
the seal packing.

I have recently bought a SU1341 and saw your message.
I am living in the Netherlands and cannot find manuals for this tractor (this type have never been sold in Europe).
I am looking for the english manuals (operation? repair? spare parts?) of this tractor. Do you have (one of) those manuals or do you know where to get those?
Thanks ....

You have either leaking piston rings (probably) or lrsking control valve or relief valve. I can supply parts or manuals. Email me at parts at sheaftractor.net ....
