Looking for feedback from anyone that has upgraded from a 2210 to a 2520. I am in discussions with the local dealer about trade-in etc. I have gotten enough clearing done that I find that I now need (or maybe just want) the extra clearance and oomph that the 2520 has over the 2210. Leaning towards the R4's (I have R1's on the 2210). How has the drive-over deck worked, and id you get the independent deck lift kit.
Thanks,

I just ordered a 2520 this week. I went with R4's again like I had on my 2210. I almost went for the turfs but my dealer convinced me to go with the R4's. Regarding the independent lift kit... I passed on it because I doubt I'll ever leave anything on the 3 pt while mowing. When using the 3 pt you can always lock the deck up and with the Onramp deck... it should be a piece of cake to remove the deck if needed. The only reason I could see getting the independent lift would be if you plan to haul something around on your 3 pt while mowing. Btw... I also added the Qhitch, rear and front lights. Good luck & have fun with your shopping :)
*Self EDIT* 1-16-06... I just wanted to note that I did make a change to my order in regards to tires. Since 90% or better will be mowing, I made the change to the R3's. They actually appear to have a lot of bite to them after seeing them on another tractor up close. Good luck! ....

I am interested to find out if the bolt pattern on the front wheels/rims on the 2520 are interchangeable with the 4110/4115 series.
I have scoured the internet but I can't find a detailed picture.
Anybody know?

Shawk--thanks for the info. I was thinking of the lift because I sometimes use the LX4 and mower deck during the same "outing". I will be keeping myiMatch and 3pt attachments. Any comments on power--especially while mowing on hills?
Thanks. ....

Ahh, sounds to be perfect for you then for that application. The upcharge is very little so I'd say go for it. Regarding power, I can't comment to much yet since I haven't received my machine.... however I doubt it'll run out of power. For it's size, it appears have power to spare. Keep us posted... I'm very curious on feedback for the 2520 as well as the 2320 when they start to roll out.
Now, if only my tractor would show up early;) ....

Thought I'd post this as well... just in case you haven't found it. Assuming they're accurate, there are a few more details here compared to Deere's site. Anything else, let me know. I'll try to help if I can... ....

Perfect! Thank you.
Cross referencing the part numbers did not reveal anything. ....
