According to the JDparts website a skid plate kit, LVB25452, is availible for a 4610. Nothing is listed for the 4600. Does anyone know if the 4600 and 4610 power reversers have the same bolt patterns underneath? The local parts counter hasn't been able to answer if the 4610 kit will work on the 4600.

That is a good question. My understanding is that the skid plate kit for the 4610 will work on the 4600. This kit used to be called the rental upgrade kit but this kit is only the C range lock out and fender switch covers. You local Deere parts man should be able to verify if this kit will work on not on your machine. I would definitely make sure it does before you commit the money and sweat to installing it. Many if not nearly all of the parts from the 4600 and 4610 are the same but it would be wise to verify in this case. ....

I purchased the skid plate kit for my 4410 but have not installed it yet. Hopefully someone who has installed theirs will jump in and post their experience. ....

I installed mine Randy. What do you need to know? I thought I posted a summary when it was installed. Gotta go find it.
Edit: Found the thread where I reviewed the kit. Here's the link. ....
