Anyone have any problems with running the BX23 backhoe for extended periods (5-8hrs) and burning up the transmission? Heard story from JD salesman? I like Kubota better than JD because JD has all hydaulics lines under tractor. I can see taking out lines when working in my woods.

Ran my new BX23 for 3 days in the dead of summer heat near 100 degrees cutting trenches in Nevada desert soil (50% rock 50% dirt) from sun up to sundown. I crapped out before the tractor had to take a second breath. I think your green JD dealer is just thinking of green (the paper type). ....

Thanks everyone for the reply. Very reassuring. I ran the BX23 for several hours at my place thanks to Kubota dealer. Looks almost perfect. Am headed to my salesman in a couple of hours to work a deal. ....
