IM in NE kansas we got a half inch of ice last weekend
coverd with 6 in of snow and its been bitter cold and we
load /unload freight trucks outside everyday at my workplace
On the ice the forktrucks proved useless and with
no tirechains on the shops tractor even cleaning the snow
off the ice wasnt very effective
Tuesday I went home bundeled up and drove my 4410 in 5 miles to work I even had to cut across a feild because the
snow drifts were to deep to buck
I started off with the fork lift attachment on the 430 loader loading trucks ,it worked great.
The ehydro is much smoother and easier to operate then our
best yale forklift and the loader controls (joystick)works
pefectly. It handles the pallets with great ease and makes working on ice efortless. The key is the ehydro once you
have it adjusted properly it never spins or slides a tire.
this makes the job fast and safe
Next I used the rear blade to clear the snow. " the
ehydro rules" the controls which i consdered all backwards
quickly become second nature with the loadmatch turned
on there was nearly no traction loss and no lost motion
the brakes steering and hydrulics are smooth and effortless
if it wasnt for the crappy tilt wheel this thing would'nt seem real.
we put 15 hours on it in 2 days running in 0 degree weather and must of changed from a bucket to forks and back 20 times its fast and easy.
I probily hooked up and un hooked the rear blade 10 times (its got Imatch so you usually never leave the tractor seat)
and moved a lot of freight ,snow and ice
I am no longer in shock about buying a high priced lawnmower ,I now wonder how they squeased that big of tractor in that small of package and sell it that cheap

Junkman, you are right on the money on all counts. The eHydro is a sweet transmission all right. ....
