Has anyone found or made a grappler attachment for a 430 loader? Thinking of adding one to bucket or putting in place of bucket, to pick up brush.

I've got a Bodozer BG-5 grapple from borgford on my 430 loader. It attaches using the standard JD quick connect bucket mechanism. You need a 3rd SCV to operate it. Check out my pics and this link. I'm very pleased with it, it's built like a tank. ....

Pretty good looking unit. The background bush looks much like it does around here. I've got some slash I really should pull out of our bush too.

The link didn't seem to work so I couldn't check out details. You might say how wide the grapples open and if they're easy to remove for normal loader operation. ....

I'm not sure why the link isn't working for you, it seems to do fine for me. It is borgford dot com.

The grapple opens a full 180 degrees and can swivel to a full face-down position to pick up slash, rocks, etc. They are built to fit the tractor you have. In my case with the 430 loader it fits right on the JD quick attach bucket mechanism, so it takes me less than 5 minutes to swap between grapple and bucket.

Thanks Ken! Your unit doesn't have the limitations of a similar grapple discussed a few years ago. Guess I'll need the link if I get serious about buying one. ....

Don't you have the MMM on your tractor Ken? If so, how do you work the 3rd SCV? Swap back and forth between the two? That grapple looks mighty handy. ....

Dennis, thanks for fixing my typo!

Chief, nope I don't have a MMM or mid-pto. Right now I have zero need to finish mow. When our landscaping gets done I will have minimal need to mow no more than 1/4 acre or so so I figure I'll just buy a cheap rider if/when I need one.
