Congratulations to Chief for passing 1000 posts. I tried to post this message as a reply to his "Post # 1000!!!!" but the reply didn't work (probably due to all the special characters in his subject line).

Anyway, I finally "earned" my fifth tractor by passing 500 posts today! This group of tractor folks are the best on the net, no doubt about it. I have learned much more than I've been able to contribute and I'm in all your debt.

To be safe when posting you probably need to avoid any characters in the subject line that are part of what's called "regular expressions". Those are the way wildcards are expanded when doing text searches or matching. I'll bet the '#' sign in your original post messed things up. I'm not sure about Dennis' implementation, but for maximum safety you should generally avoid any punctuation in the subject line to avoid problems. Looking at some existing subject lines it seems that question marks, commas, exclamation points, and slashes work ok. ....
