Spam messages are "unsolicited messages of a promotional nature". The fact that the referred link doesn't sell anything is immaterial, the purpose of the post was to promote a web site.
Sometimes it's a gray area. If you had provided the link in the context of another thread to provide relevant information it would have been allowed, but the fact that your first post here was a referral to another web site is suspicious.
However, if you'd like to stick around and participate in Chinese tractor discussions you'd be very welcome. ....
