I'm in the market for a rotary cutter for a New Holland 1925. I have no idea about its lift capacity. I think I want a 5 foot cutter but don't think I want an economy model. The medium duty cutters I have seen on the internet weight between 520lbs. and 707lbs. Does anyone have any idea about the lift capacity of the 1925?

A machine that size shouldn't have any trouble with a 5 foot medium duty cutter. Tractortips dot com says the hitch lift capacity is 1921 lbs, but it doesn't say where that measurement was taken. ....

My father-in-law has a 1925 with a 5 foot medium duty brush cutter. Sorry I don't remember the brand name. I have spent many many hours clearing brush with it. The tractor handles it just fine as far as the weight and the horsepower requirements. ....

We routinely put Bush Hog SQ60 which is a heavy duty 5' mower behind TC33 and 29 which are the same as the 1925 with no problems. ....
