Massey Ferguson 35 Tractor Coil failures

My 35 has gone thru 2 coils in as many days. This problem has justed started. Tractor has run good for years up to this point. What am I missing?

So the one on it guess burnt out and you replaced it and it burnt out, right? Has anything else in the electrical system been changed? No idea how high voltage would have to get to cause issue for coil. Are you sure it is the coils and not coil wire or other wire to it? Are you sure you had proper coil to for it?
Back to the voltage does your tractor have a voltage meter? If so how is the voltage running? Any problem with lights burning out? ....

Start it up and put a meter across the battery terminals, if the voltage regulator is gone the system will not be just 12 volts.

I'd start there.
