Massey 1010 right wheels for ag tires

i am looking at buying a massey 1010 but i need to convert the turf wheels and tires to agricultural set-up, what is involved? do i replace only the tires or wheel and tires front and rear and at what cost ?

If four wheel drive you need rims/tires that are made to work with each other to keep the gearing ratios right.

If your tires (turf) tires are in good condition would suggestion you try to find someone who would like to swap with you. You may find agriculture tires someone pulled off to install turf. It is my impression swaping from agriculture to turf is harder to find the turf tires sets.

But why do you need to change? Is it muddy ground traction? Or need narrower tires? If not you might find they will serve your needs fine. ....

I don't know that line in particular, but GENERALLY

-turfs cost more than ags and are harder to find
-you can't necessarily swap them on the same rims
-new rubber can cost as much as a used tractor
-you don't want to take ag tread across a good lawn
-you can increase traction with liquid, ballast, chains ....

thanks i work on 10 acres hard wood forested land wich is really hilly, it is more rocky than muddy so chain might be a cheaper alternative, but more dangerous... ....

For puncture-resistance as well as traction, you do want ag. And not just a ROPS but a solid or reinforced cab. And a draw-bar for the logging chain.

The wider the track, the more stable on hills but the less manoeverable among the trees. You can increase stability (and traction) with low-placed weights. ....
