------------
I just bought a new 2554 last week.
They delivered it about 2:30 Monday afternoon.
So far I like the tractor itself real well but the thing that is bothering me most about the new 2554 tractor is having to keep changing implements. IE Mower Tiller & front blade.
How hard is that going to be and how long is it going to take??

They are quite easy to change but all to often we don't change them often enough to keep the procedures in the right order or even to remember them! This chassis is in the garden tractor catagory so the changes you mentioned should be easy compared to a lawn tractor. The deck should be off in less then 60 seconds and remounted in twice that. The rest of the implements with the tiller being about twice that and the longest. The more that you do it the better you will be at it! ....

Hard to argue with that! But for those of us who have to sit on the seat for a few moments to remember where the keys goes...just not much help for us.
lbrown,
You could take the action a produce farmer near me had, each implement has it's own tractor. Not sure why he went bankrupt. ....

I agree that its a matter of practice but I don't get to practice enough on my JD LT190 lawn tractor. I find the Gravely garden tractor mower deck much easier (even though much heavier) because what you have to do is obvious. You drive over the deck, insert the lift pin and lift the mower deck until front of deck hooks into place, then hook the universal to the PTO. Done! The process for the JD is supposedly simple - but after the Gravely - seems awfully convoluted. ....

? About Leaving front blade and tiller on a CC garden tractor.
My cub tiller for my CC GT2554 has it's own separate hydraulic lift and mounting brackets.
I'm thinking this set up might allow me to leave the front blade and the tiller on the tractor and use either one as needed but I don't know if I'm right on that or not.

I almost had that with a tiller on a 67 Bolens Front Blade on A 66 Bolens & a 46'' Mower deck on A MTD PowerKraft Unlike the produce farmer I'm not bankrupt just tractor and pick up truck poor.
He should have operated it as a hobby farm and wrote every thing off for taxes. ....
