I have a b2150. The cluth at times seems to be emitting a flutter like noise that suggest the clutch is slipping some. Can someone tell me how to check and adjust the clutch pedal linkage. I'm hoping that is all that's required.

You have to have about 3/4 to 1" free play at the top of the petal on all clutches I've worked with. ....

Art, please explain "free play". Is that with the pedal all the way relaxed and you have to depress 3/4 to 1 inch, or is that with the pedal all the way depressed and you have to back off 3/4 to 1 inch to get cluth engagement? ....

I believe what Art is referring to is the free play in the pedal linkage.
The pedal should move .75" to 1" before the linkage begins to move the clutch mechanism itself.
This allows for enough travel to fully dis-engage it, and still enough margin of safety that you know it's fully engaged when your foot is not on the pedal.

OK, that makes clear sense, but how do you know if the clutch is shot. What I was trying to find out is there adjustment to get more contact or does the pressure plate keep going until there is no more clutch contact except metal to metal? Does that make sense? ....

No, there isn't any form of adjustment to the clutch itself.
About the only way to tell the state of the clutch is to inspect it. The thickness of the friction material is the determining factor.
Of course the down'n'dirty way to do it is to put a chain from the draw bar (the fixed one down low, NOT the 3pth arms) to something solid like a big tree and pull. If the clutch is shot it will slip.
