I lost my cooland after a hose came off while bushogging. I replaced coolant with water to get me home. Will water work as well?

I owned a B2150 for 10 years and the switch never worked. I just pulled the manual button back and she would shut off. That way when I sold her and as far as I know she's still that way. Couldn't see spending a 150. for the valve when the manual does the exact same thing.

That's how it supposed to work. If you want the pto only, you need to put the drive in neutral and let out the clutch with the PTP lever engaged, the PTO will run. This is the mode you would use for instance using a post hole digger. With your tractor in neutral let the clutch pedal out a little bit and you will see the pto shaft turn. If you want to move your tractor and turn the pto shaft, just put the transmission in gear along with the pto engaged while snow blowing or bush hogging for instance both the pto and the drive to the wheels will work. That�s how a live pto works. Did your dealer give you a manuel?

I owned a B2150 for 10 years, bought it for 6000, sold it for 6000. It came with a MMM. It leaked around the seal and because I never needed the MMM, I had the gear removed and blanked of the hole. There a great tractor, I think better than the newer ones. I had over 2000 hours and going strong. I also added a FEL. Did have to replace the drive for the FWD.because of a seal lead and the bearings went dry. I would recomened you check the fluid in the front axil.

I have the identical tractor. What you�re describing is the front differential spacer. It contains two bearings and the front pinion shaft. This spacer connects the front and rear drive of your drive train. It has gear oil and that is what your seeing. I just had to replace the bearings on my tractor because the oil seal failed and it slowly trained dry.

OK, I need some advice on how tight the side to side sway adjustment should be. Is it no play for straight ahead work like a BB and PHD and a little sway for Brush hogging? My new tractor was delivered with a BB atatched that is tight, no side to side play at all.

I have a Woods dealer 10 miles from me. I think I will check them out.The dealer that I bought my TYM is 5 miles away and he sells Bush Hog brand I have read that the heavier BB is best as it stays down and doesn't bounce. I think the weight is around 900 lbs. What are your thoghts on that?

Yes, the trade in value is something that concerned me also, but I'm 62 and don't plan to buy another tractor in my life time:)The dealer has been real good to me over the years and has been selling this brand for a number of years, there are about 16 or so customers of his that have purchased them here in our immediate vicinity. He sells several different brands. Parts don't seem to be a problem. This brand has been in the US for over 20 years, so their not exactly brand new on the scene. The warranty (5years) and service is what impressed me the most.Free 50 and 100 hr. service thrown in. I test drove one Saturday and was quite impressed with the way everything was laid out and handled. Very smooth and steering was very nice. The price is hard to ignore, 30hp tractor for 14 grand. 62" bucket, it will lift 1800 lbs close to 8 feet in the air. It appears to be a stout little beast. Anyway I done the deed and now have 2 tractors, my B2150 and this TYM. Don't hate me guys. Now I�m looking for a box blade for it as well.

I�m thinking of ordering a new tractor and am wondering what type of tire to order on it. I like Turf, but are pretty useless if you pulling something as in plowing or disking, but they are wider aller and frankly are pleasing to the eye. The industrial I have no clue, but they come standard on this tractor. Actually the tractor will cost a little more to get the aggs because the tractor with aggs is shipped from another location. What are your opinions? Will the industrials function for plowing etc.?<br>

Update, they came and picked up my tractor yesterday. Mechanic called me to report that he drained hyd. oil and pulled the filter cartridge and found some powdered metal caught by the magnet in the filter. The oil was not burned. He drove it around before draining the oil and the noise I was hearing he thinks is coming form the metal tube covering the front drive shaft, but was planning to pull the cover where it connects to the front and check it, but wanted my permission to do that. He did not think that there was anything to worry about. I asked him to replace all fluids while he had her there. Hopefully get her back today. I had lined up two used tractors to check on Saturday, got the bank approval to purchase, but looks like I won't need to worry about that for now and hopefully have a long time before I will. I'm 62 so hope my tractor out lives me:)

Thanks, I do not mow lawns with my tractor I have a zero turn Ferris for that. My dealer is coming tommorow to pick up my B2150 to change fluids and take a look to see if there is any internal damage. I really love this tractor. The L looks to be the same tractor regarding size HP number of cyl's etc.

Yup, I'm with you on that, Bagged uo the stuff and put upstairs for future install. I started to remove some paneling that I had started,wanted to look and see how bad that was, it's wet as well, I will be able to reuse it as it came off pretty easy, just had to slice it along the top edge because the drop cieling is in place at that location.

I am very busy, I would really like to meet you but I have received a lot of offers since I posted the add and meeting with each and everyone for a drive test drive or inspection would take too much time. What I want to do, to avoid that, is to use eBay's services for handling online transactions. According to their policy, eBay will secure the funds into their escrow account and they will not realse it to the seller before you will not receive, inspect and accept the tractor. You will have a 5 days inspection period to run a series of checks on the tractor. If it will not be 100% as I describe it to be, or you will find it unsatisfactory for any reason, they will refund you in full. You may be concerned regarding this transaction, but it it is not the case. I am a trustworthy person with great reputation here and any negative feedback will not do me too good. You have my personal guarantee you will receive the tractor in no more than 5 days (as long as shipping takes). I only suggest you try to see things from this perspective: you get to test the tractor (though be aware that it must be returned in the same condition), the money are being hold by a third party and that same party handles all the necessary procedures (shipping and other legal procedures).Since everyone is pressing me to close the deal I would like to push things forward a little bit.
