Does anyone know of a source for an after market cup holder that will fit a JD 970? I'd just as soon not have to juggle a glass of ice tea while turning out in th eopen field.
Told you it was trivial.
Thanks.

Trivial? That's very serious business there.
The best one I've found so far are the stainless steel gimballed ones for use on boats, they mount either with 3M miracle tape or screws. They work on my boat at 80+ mph so they should be fine for around the lawn.
Best of luck. ....

Thanks. I'll check out a chandlers.
From your pic 14, there appear to be periods of the year when you have way too little to do.

Toller, yes that's true, but we have found ways of dealing with the boredom quite nicely as you can see, thank you. ....

I had a friend who mounted a gimballed holder on his JD lawn and garden tractor, and after 5 P.M., it worked really well for holding a gin and tonic.

John Deere makes a bottle holder for the larger row crop tractors under part # AL156731 for $32.40. Not sure if this will fit your 970 but you could check with your local Deere dealer and see what they can come up with. ....
