I was hoping if anyone had any advice on what John Deere i should buy. I have a 53 acre lot. My plan is to mow the pastures and i would also like a front loader. Any ideas?

Well, I take care of 30 hillside acres with a 3720; half pasture, half woods. It's barely enough tractor for the job. Wanted a cabbed 4x20 series, but they are too tall for both my shed and barn doors. That said, you'll have to be a little more descriptive of your property - and of what you plan to do with it - so we have a better idea of what to recommend.

You don't mention if you are looking for new or used. Also if your land is flat, steep, rolling or whatever. What size mower will you want? How many acres will be mowed? What price range you looking for? Just from what I do know, I would lean towards a small to mid sized 5000 series. Unless you really want hydro transmission. Then I would look at 4720. If looking for something older, 2040 - 2640, 2150 - 2750, or 2155 - 2755 would all be good choices. ....

I've got just about the same number of acres and Deere 4310 12/12 Power Reverser, front wheel assist.
I don't do any tillage with it just mowing and loader work, the tillable land is rented to a neighbor.
So far I've really never wished for anything bigger (35 hp.). I have a 430 loader, a five ft. tiller, five ft. rotary mower, box blade, etc.
No matter which tractor you buy be sure you get a front wheel assist.
